Robert F. Brodegaard focuses his practice on international dispute resolution and U.S. commercial litigation arising under a wide variety of domestic and foreign laws in a diverse set of industries. He has represented foreign and domestic corporations, governments and governmental agencies in litigation, mediation, and arbitration of international commercial, investment, and intellectual property disputes, as well as representing foreign and domestic parties in connection with enforcing foreign judgments and arbitral awards.
An experienced trial lawyer, Mr. Brodegaard has appeared in state and federal courts around the nation. His complex commercial litigation and trial practice has ranged from litigating and acting as trial counsel in cases brought under the securities, RlCO, and antitrust laws to professional malpractice, lender liability, and fraud/fraudulent conveyance claims.
Mr. Harris is Of Counsel to Brodegaard & Associates LLC. Previously, he was a litigation partner at Thacher Proffitt for 21 years. During most of that period he chaired the Litigation Department and co-chaired the Latin American practice group. Previously, he was a litigation partner in the New York office of Weil Gotshal & Manges for 10 years and served for 4 years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. He was named a N.Y. Super Lawyer in 2007.
Ms. Kuepper is Of Counsel to Brodegaard & Associates LLC. Previously, she was a Senior Deputy Attorney General for the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office for 20 years. During that time, she was a trial attorney and lead in the tort and contract claims section, assistant section chief in the tort litigation section and trial attorney in the banking and insurance section. Previously, she was a staff attorney in the New Jersey Administrative Office of the Courts and the New Jersey Supreme Court Clerk’s Office.
